The person who signs your report
Owen Hughes founded Able and runs it from Barcelona. Able's position is simple: automated scanning is the cheap part of accessibility work and accountability is the scarce part, so every deliverable carries a human signature.
- Every Rapid Accessibility Diagnostic and every Full Conformance Audit is re-tested and signed by Owen before it is delivered. The sample report shows the signature block a purchased report ends with.
- Verified Monitoring's quarterly conformance summary is signed by him after a hand re-test of your five key journeys.
- The published legal fact pages (Germany, the Netherlands) state when they were last verified against the statute; corrections are made openly and under his name.
Able deliberately does not sell overlay widgets or "guaranteed compliance". What it sells is evidence a named person is prepared to stand behind.
Legal identity
Able is the trading name under which founder Owen Hughes operates as a self-employed provider established in Barcelona, Spain. Being established in Spain is what decides which provider-information rules apply to this site: Spanish ones. Able is not registered as a company or a branch in Germany, Austria or the Netherlands, and does not present itself as one.

Prices on this site exclude VAT. Spanish IVA at 21% currently applies to sales to businesses elsewhere in the EU, because Able's registration in the Registro de Operadores Intracomunitarios is still in progress. Once it is approved, supplies to VAT-registered businesses in other member states are reverse charged instead. Whichever applies to you is stated on your quote and your invoice before any payment is taken.
Able is a one-person business, and says so rather than dressing itself up as a firm. If and when a Spanish company is incorporated, the registered-company details will appear on this page and this paragraph will change.
